Revlon and Bed Head Hair Appliances spring 2013 Gift Guide

by Philippa Lane

It is time to get your tresses into tip top shape with some great hair appliances by Revlon and Bed Head.  I have found some great ones that I would like to share with you.

Not all styling tools are alike and these appliances are some of the best ones that I recommend for all hair types.

Revlon 1875 Watt Tourmaline Ionic Dryer: If you are looking for a hair dryer that will give your hair a whole lot of volume and shine, then this is the blow dryer that can do just that and your hair will look and feel healthier too. It is not heavy as so many other dryers are and does not have a bulky feel, making styling almost effortless. I have very curly/wavy hair and I need a diffuser to help my curls come out just right, and this dryer comes with a nicely shaped diffuser attachment that helps my hair look its best, making my curls look great by eliminating the frizz. The dryer comes with a concentrator, diffuser, cold shot button, two heat and speed settings, a removable end cap, works on all hair types, dries hair quickly, and distributes heat evenly because it has ceramic technology.
Price: $39.99

Revlon Tapered Nano Ceramic Ionic Digital Styling Iron: If you are looking for an Ionic Styling Iron that can create natural looking, tight spirals and lovely curls throughout your hair, then the Revlon Tapered Nano Ceramic Ionic Digital Styling Iron is a perfect choice. The Nano Ceramic Technology protects hair from damage and adds shine and luster to every strand. I especially like the barrel of this curling iron it is thick at the base and gets thinner toward the tip. Because of its unique design, I am able to achieve the best spiral looking curls that I never had before using any other styling tool. After curling my hair with this iron, I have perfect spiral curls that are smooth, shiny, and frizz free. If you have wanted natural looking spiral curls, then this is definitely the iron that you need. Some curling irons that I have tried leave unsightly dents in my hair, but not this one. It heats up very fast, is easy to handle, and has two temperature buttons. The Tapered Nano Ceramic Ionic Digital Iron is easy to use and it achieves the results that I want quickly and easily. I use this iron a lot and love it.
Price: $29.99

Revlon 1”Vibrating Straightener: This is a very unique straightening iron, because when the plates are in a closed position, they will vibrate. It comes in a sleek black color, is tourmaline coated, and the plates are ceramic. The straightener works well with all hair types, takes about 30 seconds to heat up, comes with a digital temperature display, and has an auto off/on switch. I am not really used to using a vibrating straightener and I prefer one that does not have this feature, but if you want the heat to be distributed evenly to every follicle, resulting in beautifully straight strands that are salon perfect, then this vibrating straightener is a great choice. Price: $39.99

If you are on the go and travel frequently or you just do not want to pack or carry large hair styling tools, then there are some great mini alternatives available that are small enough to take with you anywhere and they are the new Bed Head Groupies line of mini hair styling tools, which include a- mini blowdryer, mini 1” straightener, mini 1” crimper, and a mini curling iron.

The Bed Head Groupies Mini Styling Tools may be small, but they are powerful and can help you achieve the hair style that you want. They are also lightweight, fun to use, are efficient, heat up quickly, and you can take them with you wherever you go. Price: $19.99

Any of the aforementioned hair appliances that I have mentioned are high quality and can be great gifts for someone special in your life or maybe for yourself.
